The goal of the PALS is to teach health care professionals to recognize infants and children at risk of cardiopulmonary arrest, to provide strategies on prevention of cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children, and to perform the cognitive and psychomotor skills for resuscitating and stabilizing infants and children in shock, respiratory failure and cardiopulmonary arrest.

 A valid AHA/ Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada BLS Healthcare Provider Course  Completion Card

Course test:

 To complete the PALS Course, candidate should be able to demonstrate CPR skills and use of the AED and to achieve the learning objectives for each module. A post-course written MCQ examination will be issued. Passing rate is 84%.

*AHA PALS completion card (valid for 2 years) will be issued to participants who passed the examination.
