The Hong Kong Nurses Association commits that its policies and practices regarding the collection, use, storage, protection and access of data comply with Hong Kong law, including the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, and are consistent with the following statement.

Statement on Collection of Personal Data and Privacy Policy

1. The information we collect from you will generally be used to process membership and other membership/service applications/inquiries.
2. We will not disclose the information we collect about you to other parties in a way that would be sufficient to identify you.
3. You have the right to request access to and correction of the personal data we hold about you.
4. If you wish to review or correct the information we hold about you, please contact our Membership Department.
5. When anyone visits and browses our website, we will not collect their personal data except to update the number of visitors.
6. Throughout the entire website, we will only collect members' personal information in response to their requests/inquiries, and we will inform members of the purpose and use of the collected information at the time of collection. Furthermore, members' rights regarding inquiries and modifications to their personal information will be clearly explained. We reiterate that we will not collect members' personal information without their knowledge or notification.
7. Once personal data is collected, only authorized employees can access it, and all data will not be disclosed to any external organization without the member's consent or except as required by law. To effectively serve our members, we will periodically send you promotional materials and offers for our services/products, and you have the right to request to stop receiving such promotional materials.
8. This website provides links to other websites. Once you activate any of these links, you are leaving this website; and any personal data you provide on any other website after leaving this website is not covered by this organization's protection.

The association will continuously conduct internal reviews to ensure that members' privacy is respected and protected.
