Be a child's emotional coach

On your parenting journey, have you ever felt confused, wondering why your child often throws tantrums, or feeling helpless about your teenager's silence?? This course is designed specifically for parents and caregivers, aiming to guide you in learning how to effectively care for your child's emotions. Combining theory and practice, the course provides an accessible analysis of the social and emotional developmental needs of children and adolescents, enabling you to understand the messages behind your child's behavior and master the core skills of becoming a child's emotional coach. We believe that through appropriate emotional care, you can build a deeper connection with your child and jointly create a harmonious family atmosphere.

Course Objectives

This course aims to equip parents to become emotional coaches for their children, thereby improving the overall mental health of the family. The course will teach specific techniques to guide you in helping your children identify, perceive, express, and regulate their emotions, promoting their healthy emotional development. Through parent-child interaction principles derived from play therapy, you will learn how to use "special playtime" to build a deeper connection with your child and strengthen the family's emotional support network. The course also emphasizes parental self-care, providing practical stress-reduction tools to help you maintain your own mental health and face challenges more effectively in parenting. Furthermore, we will explore how to recognize children's emotional warning signs, understand common stressors, signs of emotional disorders, and basic crisis management methods, and provide relevant referral resources so you can promptly safeguard your child's mental health and become their most steadfast support.
